Entrepreneur Track Curriculum

Weeks 1–901

Business Foundations

Build experience across the core functions of a business before you build one of your own.

Weeks 1–3
MarketingMarket research, brand voice and copywriting, and a first content campaign. Your weekly newsletter and portfolio start here.
Weeks 4–6
SalesSales as problem-solving: personas, prospecting, and a cold outreach sequence written for a real company.
Weeks 7–9
Operations & Customer SuccessSOPs, workflows, CRMs and automations, and handling customer feedback.
Weeks 10–1702

Find, Frame, and Build

Commit to a business idea, your own or a starting point from our idea catalog, and ship the smallest real version of it.

Weeks 10–12
FindExplore problem spaces, run customer development interviews, and commit to the problem you'll solve.
Week 13
FrameTurn the interview evidence into an MVP spec with clear success and failure criteria, then pitch it.
Weeks 14–17
BuildBuild the MVP, document how it runs, and test it with potential customers.
Weeks 18–2403

Reach, Sell, and Decide

Put what you built in front of strangers, try to sell it, and decide what happens next the way an entrepreneur would.

Weeks 18–19
ReachLaunch a public presence and marketing copy, then start real conversations with your first audience.
Weeks 20–22
SellRun a cold outreach campaign to people who live the problem, and document every objection and outcome.
Weeks 23–24
DecideWrite the decision document, record what changed in you, and deliver the final pitch to peers, mentors, and the Praxis network.

Whether your first business grows, changes direction, or teaches you what to build next, you'll leave with something you couldn't get from studying entrepreneurship alone: firsthand experience doing it.

Building a business means dealing with uncertainty. Not every assumption will be right, not every experiment will work, and not every first idea will be the one worth pursuing long term. That's part of the experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to already have a business idea?

No. If you already have an idea you want to pursue, you can bring it into the program. If you don't, you can pick a starting point from our idea catalog and begin building from there.

Will I actually launch a business during the program?

Yes. You'll take a real business from idea to launch: developing an offer, creating an MVP, gathering customer feedback, testing the market, and running a live sales campaign. By the end, you'll have put your product in front of customers and asked them to buy.

What does a week usually look like?

Modules unlock on Monday and you work through them at your own pace. There is one live cohort call each week at a set day and time, and one deliverable due by the end of Sunday. Plan on 10 to 15 hours, and it is built to be doable alongside a job.

Is business success or revenue guaranteed?

No. You'll launch a real business, but building one involves real market uncertainty, and Praxis does not guarantee that your business will generate revenue, become profitable, or keep running after the program. What you will get is the opportunity to move through the real process of entrepreneurship with structure, mentorship, feedback, accountability, and a community building alongside you.

Do I need to complete Incubate first?

Yes. Every Praxis participant begins with Incubate. Finishing it earns a certificate of completion, which is what makes you eligible to apply for an Accelerate track.

How do I get in?

Accelerate participation is by application, not open enrollment. Once you have your Incubate certificate, you apply, and the decision comes down to how you showed up in Incubate: attending the weekly calls, submitting your deliverables, communicating well, and handling yourself professionally. Your program lead and mentor both weigh in. The program fee is $6,650, and the full terms are here.

How do I know if Entrepreneur Track or Career Launch Track is right for me?

Entrepreneur Track is built for people who want to build and launch a business of their own. Career Launch Track is built for people who want to build a career inside a business, in areas like marketing, sales, operations, or customer success. Compare the two by also reading about the Career Launch Track.

When do I have to decide which Accelerate track I should join?

You'll first tell us your preference on the Accelerate application in Week 5 of Incubate. If you're not sure yet, choose "I don't know yet" and your program lead will reach out to help you think it through.

You'll make your choice when you enroll in Accelerate, via a checkbox on the payment form. We ask before Accelerate starts so we can match you with a mentor who fits your track and will stay with you the whole way. This also gives you the chance to go through the program with an eye for your end goal, whether that's landing a job or launching a business.

Both tracks start with the same nine weeks of business foundations. The specific tracks begin in Week 10, so everything you do in the first nine weeks applies to either track.

What if I want to switch tracks at some point in Accelerate?

Please choose carefully, since your mentor and cohort are set up around your track. Both tracks share the first nine weeks of business foundations, so if you're having second thoughts, talk to your program lead as early as you can.

Once your track begins in Week 10, you can't switch. Joining a new track partway through would put you behind your new cohort and disrupt your mentor relationship.

If your track starts to feel challenging, that's normal. Both tracks are designed to stretch you. Talk to your program lead and your mentor. They're there to provide you with support.

Will I have access to the content for both tracks?

No. When the tracks begin, each track has its own curriculum content and weekly workshops, and only participants in that track can see them. You'll be fully supported in the track you choose: curriculum, mentorship, cohort calls, and feedback.

You can't enroll in both tracks at the same time. Each track's workload is about the same as a part-time job, and the two cohorts meet at the same time for weekly calls. If you want to do the other track in the future, see the next question.

What if I finish one track and want to come back to do another in the future?

You can, for an additional fee. You'd join the other track at Week 10 alongside a future cohort, pending a brief review process to confirm re-acceptance into the program. You won't repeat the weeks of business foundations.

If you come back for the Career Launch Track, the job offer guarantee and terms apply to you, just as they do for anyone who starts that track.

Bring your ambition to life.

Build something real. Put it into the market. Learn what happens when you stop thinking about entrepreneurship and start practicing it.
