Business Foundations
Build experience across the core functions of a business before you build one of your own.

Move through the full cycle of entrepreneurship, from identifying a real problem and testing demand to building, launching, and selling in the market.
Already have something you want to pursue? Start there and develop it around a real problem and a clear customer.
Not sure what you want to build yet? Pick a starting point from our idea catalog and start putting your entrepreneurial skills to work.

Accelerate's Entrepreneur Track gives you a clear path from idea to launch, with experienced guidance, weekly feedback, built-in accountability, and a cohort of ambitious peers building alongside you.
By the end of your time in Accelerate's Entrepreneur Track, you won't just know more about starting a business. You'll have firsthand experience bringing a business to market. You'll work toward:
Build experience across the core functions of a business before you build one of your own.
Commit to a business idea, your own or a starting point from our idea catalog, and ship the smallest real version of it.
Put what you built in front of strangers, try to sell it, and decide what happens next the way an entrepreneur would.
Whether your first business grows, changes direction, or teaches you what to build next, you'll leave with something you couldn't get from studying entrepreneurship alone: firsthand experience doing it.
Building a business means dealing with uncertainty. Not every assumption will be right, not every experiment will work, and not every first idea will be the one worth pursuing long term. That's part of the experience.No. If you already have an idea you want to pursue, you can bring it into the program. If you don't, you can pick a starting point from our idea catalog and begin building from there.
Yes. You'll take a real business from idea to launch: developing an offer, creating an MVP, gathering customer feedback, testing the market, and running a live sales campaign. By the end, you'll have put your product in front of customers and asked them to buy.
Modules unlock on Monday and you work through them at your own pace. There is one live cohort call each week at a set day and time, and one deliverable due by the end of Sunday. Plan on 10 to 15 hours, and it is built to be doable alongside a job.
No. You'll launch a real business, but building one involves real market uncertainty, and Praxis does not guarantee that your business will generate revenue, become profitable, or keep running after the program. What you will get is the opportunity to move through the real process of entrepreneurship with structure, mentorship, feedback, accountability, and a community building alongside you.
Yes. Every Praxis participant begins with Incubate. Finishing it earns a certificate of completion, which is what makes you eligible to apply for an Accelerate track.
Accelerate participation is by application, not open enrollment. Once you have your Incubate certificate, you apply, and the decision comes down to how you showed up in Incubate: attending the weekly calls, submitting your deliverables, communicating well, and handling yourself professionally. Your program lead and mentor both weigh in. The program fee is $6,650, and the full terms are here.
Entrepreneur Track is built for people who want to build and launch a business of their own. Career Launch Track is built for people who want to build a career inside a business, in areas like marketing, sales, operations, or customer success. Compare the two by also reading about the Career Launch Track.
You'll first tell us your preference on the Accelerate application in Week 5 of Incubate. If you're not sure yet, choose "I don't know yet" and your program lead will reach out to help you think it through.
You'll make your choice when you enroll in Accelerate, via a checkbox on the payment form. We ask before Accelerate starts so we can match you with a mentor who fits your track and will stay with you the whole way. This also gives you the chance to go through the program with an eye for your end goal, whether that's landing a job or launching a business.
Both tracks start with the same nine weeks of business foundations. The specific tracks begin in Week 10, so everything you do in the first nine weeks applies to either track.
Please choose carefully, since your mentor and cohort are set up around your track. Both tracks share the first nine weeks of business foundations, so if you're having second thoughts, talk to your program lead as early as you can.
Once your track begins in Week 10, you can't switch. Joining a new track partway through would put you behind your new cohort and disrupt your mentor relationship.
If your track starts to feel challenging, that's normal. Both tracks are designed to stretch you. Talk to your program lead and your mentor. They're there to provide you with support.
No. When the tracks begin, each track has its own curriculum content and weekly workshops, and only participants in that track can see them. You'll be fully supported in the track you choose: curriculum, mentorship, cohort calls, and feedback.
You can't enroll in both tracks at the same time. Each track's workload is about the same as a part-time job, and the two cohorts meet at the same time for weekly calls. If you want to do the other track in the future, see the next question.
You can, for an additional fee. You'd join the other track at Week 10 alongside a future cohort, pending a brief review process to confirm re-acceptance into the program. You won't repeat the weeks of business foundations.
If you come back for the Career Launch Track, the job offer guarantee and terms apply to you, just as they do for anyone who starts that track.
Build something real. Put it into the market. Learn what happens when you stop thinking about entrepreneurship and start practicing it.
