- Praxis Interview on FOX News
Praxis was in the news. Again.
A few years back, Tucker Carlson featured Isaac Morehouse, founder of Praxis, on his show. (Here’s the first interview.)
Carlson dedicated a segment to ‘Is College Worth It?
In the first couple videos, he lays out the issues surrounding college today:
- Is College Still Worth It?
- Affirmative Action, College, and Unintended Consequences
- Are Our Colleges Leaving Our Kids Ill-Prepared?
In a follow-up episode, he brought Isaac onto the show to talk about possible alternatives to college. It was timely: Carlson’s first videos summed up the problems with college, and this interview featuring Praxis provided a solution to the issues he brought up.
Most college-age students don’t realize there is any option other than college. Praxis is one of the alternatives that proves every day that there are opportunities everywhere if individuals are willing to think outside the box.

“It is a myth that you need a degree to start your career… The best and brightest are realizing this, and they’re getting started in their career now.” -Isaac Morehouse
Even though many job postings state “Degree Required”, all the employers want to know is that you can provide value for the company. There are much better ways to demonstrate value than a “dead piece of paper,” Isaac points out.
One of the best moments of the interview came when Carlson asked how one can demonstrate ability without a degree.
Isaac tells the story of a friend of his who polled executives from various companies. He asked a simple question: Would you rather hire someone who ran a marathon, or someone who has a college degree?
85% of those polled answered that they would rather hire the person who completed a marathon.
The analogy fits well: life is much more like a marathon than a document. It makes sense that more and more individuals are searching for concrete credentials.
